    Jim Corbett Safari Booking Details

The Dhikala zone is the largest of the Corbett tiger reserve’s eight zones, boasting the most picturesque scenery with its thick Sal Forest habitat, expansive grasslands, winding valley, and numerous Ramganga river channels. The Ramganga River provides the Dhikala Zone with vitality and contributes to the area’s high wildlife density.

The enormous length of the famous Dhikala Chaur is home to a troop of elephants and spotting deer. This is most likely the greatest location in the Tiger Reserve to see the extremely uncommon Hog Deer.

Every wildlife lover looks forward to their stay at Dhikala. Dhikala zone entry is via Dhangari gate. The Dhikala Tourist Complex is situated 30 miles inside the Dhangari Gate, and the Dhangari Gate is approximately 18 km from Ramnagar. Travelers can visit Dhikala between November 15th and June 15th. It is inaccessible during the monsoon.

The Dhikala tourism complex is the ideal location to witness crocodiles and gharials lazing on the banks of the Ramganga, with a view of the reservoir. For those who enjoy the outdoors and wildlife, the Dhikala Zone offers fresh forms of beauty with each passing season.

Dhikala Accommodation: Dhikala Forest Rest House

For anyone who loves wildlife, spending the night in a forest hut in the Dhikala zone is like going on a dream journey. Dhikala Canter Safari

The Corbett Forest department in the Dhikala zone organise a canter safari to allow visitors to observe the abundant animals in this area. Since the Day Jeep safari is not offered in the Dhikala tourism zone, the Canter safari is the only option for those who are interested in wildlife but do not wish to stay in the area. Dhikala Grassland (Chaur)

Dhikala grassland is one of the most attractive things to seek while in this zone. Visitors frequently see a tiger in the wild running after a deer or across a grassland.

    Dhikala Watch Tower

It also offers you a great view of the entire Ramganga riverbed and a sizable portion of Dhikala Chaur. The distance between Dhikala Forest Rest Louse and this watch tower is hardly 10 minutes.

    Crocodile Point

The crocodile point, which is next to the Gairal Rest House, is a terrace-like area constructed over a pool that serves as the permanent home to a huge number of crocodiles. If you stand on the terrace and gaze down into the pool, you may observe the crocodiles.

    Dhikala Sambhar Trail

The jungle trail leads to the Khinanauli rest house from the foot of the Dhikala watchtower. This is most likely the place where tigers are most frequently sighted because of its perfect location between the riverbed and the hills on opposite sides. In this location, the majority of animals cross across as they descend in search of water. Additionally, elephants frequently traverse this trail.
